Catz N Dogz's Pets Recordings returns with a collaborative single project as refreshing and breathtaking as the back catalogue releases before it. 'Follow The Step' is the first original track from Sofia-based German musician, Rachel Row, and fellow Bulgarian house/techno stalwart, KiNK. Born of 'a rare connection where words are unnecessary', Rachel Row and KiNK have created a dreamy, love-longing, magically soulful record that defies genre and space.

Drawn to 'cold, manly instrumental electronics, warm, airy, catchy vocals and classic riffs for colour', Rachel's beautifully carved melody meets KiNK's subtle drum work, twinkle motifs and a dominant yet tender bassline which slowly takes control of the original. From the sonorous chords and percussive shuffles of his 'Beat Mix' to the deep, stand out vocal production on the KiNK mix, Kink takes 'Follow The Step' from the ethereal day time straight to the club with impressive ease. ManMakeMusic upstart Trikk also jumps on the b-side, choosing muffled claps and alluring keyboard stabs to rework the track into a London-centric, prime time dance floor selection.

It's quite rare that two skilled musicians stay true to their craft to produce such a unique electronic record. On 'Follow The Step' vocals, lyrics and production come together to form a genuine composition that manages to rise above the underground.
